HubSpot Enables Webhook Triggers in Workflows & More

November’s product releases from HubSpot were small but mighty. From webhook triggers in workflows to conditional property options to enrolling contacts in a workflow using a webhook, we’re here to tell you all about ‘em.
Let’s dig in.
Social Media Tags and Mentions
No more editing after your post is published, friends! HubSpot now allows you to tag profiles in photos and Reels! On LinkedIn, you can now mention LinkedIn personal profiles, too.
Both of these features are available to Marketing Pro+ users.
Recommended Enablement CRM Card
This new feature puts Playbooks in the right place at the right time. Previously, they were only available in a list in the side panel on Company, Contact, Deal, Ticket, and custom object record pages. Now, HubSpot brings recommended playbooks to the center panel of CRM record pages.
This feature is available to Sales and Service Hub Pro+ users.
Webhook Triggers in Workflows
HubSpot now enables users to trigger workflows from webhooks. This update allows you to pull in data from third-party systems or apps in order to trigger workflows in HubSpot, saving you loads of time on automation creation.
This feature is available to Operations Hub Pro+ users.
Conditional Property Options
When you’ve got a property or two or three that include additional conditional properties (like Country and State), it can be frustrating to scroll through the conditional properties to find the one you need among many. Now, HubSpot filters out properties that aren’t related to your original property. For example, if you have the United States and Europe, it will separate U.S. states from European countries.
This feature is available to all Professional Hub users.
Enroll Contacts with a Webhook
When you start a workflow and choose triggers, you now have the option to trigger an action from a webhook. HubSpot will create a URL you can paste into your third-party app, and it will return data. You can then parse that data according to your properties. Learn more.
