Boost Sales Efficiency with HubSpot’s Prospecting Workspace Tool
07/05/2023 • 3 min read • Written by Corie Stark
HubSpot’s product releases introduced a new workspace for prospecting. Currently in public beta, this new tool will help your sales team organize their day all in one place. In this blog, we’ll review what this means for your sales team and highlight a few other releases we’re excited about.
Prospect in One Place
Rather than using multiple tools to keep track of their day, HubSpot’s new prospecting workplace will allow reps to see the bigger picture by logging daily activities, creating new or urgent tasks, and tying projects up all in one place.
If your sales team is prospecting in HubSpot, this tool will allow them to feel confident that they can generate enough opportunities to reach and exceed goals. They’ll even have insight into their project progress to see if they’re meeting benchmarks.
So, what can you see once you’re in this tool? Within the Summary tab, you’ll get a total view of:
- Your task progress
- Tasks
- Your schedule
- Sequences
In your Activity Feed, you can view a list of all of your sales activity notifications from the last year. They are grouped by contact and are unique to the user account you are signed into when viewing the feed.

Note: This feature is still in beta and is available to Sales Hub Professional Enterprise users.
Other HubSpot Releases We Love
Here are a few other helpful updates we’ve got our eye on.
Reconfigured CTAs Tool
Creating CTAs just got easier! You can now make pop-ups, slide-ins, embeddable buttons, and banners without a developer or designer. Huzzah!
The drag-and-drop editor now gives you full control of styling your CTA the way you need. It’s also easy to customize it to match the rest of your branding. This newly redesigned feature is available to Marketing Hub and CMS Hub Starter+ users.
Track Campaign Budgets and Spending
The way you track and manage campaign budgets has changed. Existing and new campaigns now have a dedicated “budget” space to help you track spending so that you stay on budget. This is only available to Marketing Hub Pro+ users.
You can:
- Track detailed campaign budget and spending data via individual line items
- Track the total campaign budget and spend per campaign
- Track the remaining budget factoring in campaign spend
Book Meetings for Teammates
On a call where you need to schedule another call with a teammate, but they aren’t there to discuss times? Now you can schedule meetings for peers within the meeting scheduling flow. They’ll be able to see that you booked the meeting on their behalf.
Within this feature, you can also use “created by” and “assigned to” filters in reports to track who is booking meetings and who is hosting them. This feature is available for users with paid Sales Hub Pro+ seats.
Find Customer Conversion Success
Set up your customer journey analytics today to view every customer touchpoint in one place. You’ll learn where your users fall off, and you’ll also find what keeps them around.
If you’re looking for other ways to optimize your HubSpot portal, reach out to our onboarding team today. We can help configure your portal in ways that will help you streamline operations, sales, and your bottom line.
